SGS certificate

SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance) provides independent inspection, weighing and quality control at load port. The SGS certificate confirms quantity, quality parameters and condition of the cargo at the time of loading. It is widely accepted by buyers and banks for vegetable oil and sugar trade.

Certificate of Origin

The Certificate of Origin confirms the country where the vegetable oil or sugar was produced. It is issued by an authorised body (e.g. chamber of commerce) and is often required by customs and buyers for import clearance and compliance.

Quality certificate

The Quality certificate sets out the commercial quality parameters of the vegetable oil or sugar: acidity, peroxide value, moisture, colour, purity, etc. It is issued on the basis of analysis (including SGS or equivalent) and forms part of the contract specifications.

Certificate of Analysis

The Certificate of Analysis confirms that the consignment meets the quality and composition requirements of the importing country. It is issued by an accredited laboratory (e.g. SGS) and is standard for vegetable oil and sugar shipments. It specifies analytical parameters such as acidity, peroxide value, moisture, and purity.
